Text Document (3)

 This is a blog entry.

Do you know what is to remember a time when you was not able to do what you can do today?

That's the main reason I decided to write about it later.

This is the time when I was trying to get traits common to successful writers.

But even today, I can say, I don't write everyday, amongst other things. Mostly because I cannot do it. My wizarding life don't let me do what I want, or when I want to do it.

I have also Magic to study, and a School to think about.

The School was planned in 2008, but only start to work in 2020.

2020 is a shocking cyberpunk present, with global environmental issues, terrorists and a huge web the search engines cannot find fully, this way people are trying to think about lies told in the digital world, but several people cannot see it's all fake news.

I'll not say about later yet, it's not the goal of this blog.

I mean, I created a game, and I'm creating languages since I was eleven.

My first word chosen was "Draka", and it means "Dragon". It's also the name to their language, but then I've chosen words I cannot tell because they're Spells, and we cannot tell Spells to non wizard people.

(Edit) By 2023, the second Cycle is starting this summer, and the School has 9k more students. Don't forget "trote" is forbidden, people. I'm a little right lazy now, and so I won't search for the translation; that, and I cannot ask my computer yet. (Edit) My computer complains, "Of course you can!".

My first Spelllike word was a word to erase people's memory.

Why that? Because it's a reality Magic can do this.

That's also why I'm insisting in the wizarding comunity to protect Commons, that are non wizard folk.

Non wizards cannot protect themselves from this kind of magic.

This is also the time I forged the word "Tka", meaning "Environment", "Ecosystem".

It's more like "ecosystem", and it's also one first "ka" ending word.

I'm planning to work with a First Reader.

First readers can give the writer a very interesting view on the story.

That cannot be someone from the business, and yes, someone who likes to read.

What I can offer is my thankful "Sorry 'bout that" to this person, because it's pretty much like reading an unfinished work, yes, that's an unfinished work, and all that acompany it.

Luckily, I don't show many mistakes in my text.

I do revision while I'm writing.

So, the first piece of text is readable.

I'm really Okay with this.

It makes writing a bit more difficult, because you're writing, planning, writing again, and doing revision all at the same time.

It takes longer, and I get tired of writing soon, but it's good.

My Magic studies prevent me from writing everyday.

But yet, I don't like writing this much.

What I do is to walk from side to side in my room, with computer off, planning what I'll do to the Story.

I also believe it cannot be just any story, it must be important.

Then, I use Tarot to talk to my characters, and so, plot.

You have to find the right Question, think about it when you take the deck of cards on your hand, then find the answer.

Don't forget this will be that person's destiny who's giving you the answer, it's not only a character.

I usually take 4 cards in Tarot reading, but you can do it with 3.

The first is the Oracle's answer, the second is the character's answer, then what's better do when writing about that. A fourth card can be taken when it's not clear what the answer is, or when you want the cards' tip.

You don't need to make a full Tarot reading.

It's very good with questions, try it and see for yourself.

I remember, being on the future, that at this time I also use to get a Runes reading.

I don't do that anymore, because it's more difficult to come to a conclusion.

The symbolism of the Tarot, allied to The Origin, can be very handy.

For example, you get a 9, so it means you're dealing with Secrets.

You can also get a d10 dice reading, with The Origin's reading.

We do this all the time in Enigma to deal with the unpredictable.

But well, this is spoiler, and I won't talk 'bout it much.

If you have a Question just take a card and read, Okay -- and then, look at the last card, for it's the secret about the Question.

You have to think then about Wording, that is to transform the reading into words.

We don't have so many Friday 13s in the year, but we have more than ten years to come.

Then, I'll have other posts on it with more tips on writing.

I hope you're enjoying the reading.

Akkia Stats and Acts

They're the constitution of a person.

Actually, the Stats are basic statistics which rule the potential of a person, animal, or else, a spirit.

Stats –– list

Reaction –– Fat

Fortitude –– Budtung

Diagnose –– Ihheidiyya, Lorkksi

Enigma –– Dart

Expression –– Bréachgang (r)

Life –– Hamt

Each Stat rule an area of potentiality, saying it one is able to do something, or else, you can test its bonus to do things.

When they're important, there are the Acts. Acts are unintentional, or passive. For example, you add the Initiative to your standard Action, because there's no Initiative test on Enigma, or else, you add the Defense to defend yourself or someone from an attack.

When you're measuring the potential of a spirit, "Hamt" turns into "Shish", or Spirit.

It's considered that "Shish" is an Energy, similar to "Ehha", the Energy of History (EH) which surrounds everything. Some Shish are Kami. It means they're Holy Spirits of things and places, and I'll have rules on them for you to interact with them in the future.

Remember the idea in here is to interact with The Game, and your Assets.

Acts –– Akt –– list

Defense –– Salae

Initiative ––  Shidkatari, Laekja

Will (Willpower) –– Readar

Lucidity –– Fafkunnah (Faf)

Inspiration –– Kupyt

Arkkana –– Arkkana

What's important to say is that The Attributes come first.

They are all listed on the Character Sheet, we'll see more on this later.

For example, if you say: – "Salaete!", you mean: – "Defend yourself!", but later we'll see more examples on how to play. You can also use other Enigma languages to play, and as for Draka, the language of dragons uses symbols and degrees to define meaning.

I first started creating Draka on 1985, and again in 1991.

It was only a different alphabet at the start.

By the time I am publishing the game, Draka started to be part of Origa, the language of princesses. It's a very beautiful language, but I still have to create all the symbols -- actually, I have to write them down, because they're already in my mind.

Origa is a language designed for the use of princesses and nobles.

But well, it may also be used to play, I'll have notes on her.

Thanks for your time, and I hope you're enjoying the reading.
