Verb Tenses -- ifu

These are the Verb Tenses.

We are seeing the Ifu language level, here.

With examples, for your practice.

Preset: +du –– use: itari – before, it indicates evidence

–– Yksi (itari) hah du (hahyar et).

–– We are speaking, in a few moments.

Public Present: a, ae, ta, tta, ung, oa, ah, sch, schta, (n/z)en, fa(t), +ist, da, dda, jýr

–– Su atta saetus obbai.

–– I do this (here) for you.

Honorable Past: (sch/(im)m)ath, or: yd –– or only: -th, if end is: a

–– Shu attaimmath (ou: attayd) taessa, elle mao to wa.

–– I did something, while I was in there.

Non Passat: -immeri –– this is the Honorable for the Present

–– Attaimmeri sata, malammeth.

–– I do this, this way (showing how to).

Privat: -ttaka –– exception: atta (to do, to make, to realize)

–– Iylki hahttaka ennai wa.

–– He (She) talks to the woman, in private.

Evident: +itari, -òg

–– Itari da. –– Soh dòg,...

–– So, that's it.

Continuous: -yar (hon), -ung, +ola –– Olla

–– Su hahyar et obbai (yot).

–– I'm talking to you (know this).

Interesting: -yor

–– Sua hahyor tuyer tulae; ung data yet.

–– It's me who talks about you with you; being fair, that's what I think.

Subversive: -lyóg –– goes against the common state of things

–– Hahlyóg obbai.

–– I talk to you, even if you think I shouldn't.

Provavilae: -(a)i, +affer

–– Affer da. Hahai obbai, ammula to yet.

–– This is probable. I'll talk to you tomorrow, remember this.

Partissip Passat: -(a)tung, or: -eu

–– (Soh tu de) Aklaetung sui biyer iylki wa.

–– (This was) Said to me by her (new information).


Passat: -(t)u(nda)/+tu (ifu passat), -u (regular)

–– Akata tu wa (irui kytter: Akata).

–– I understood (but it's better: (I) understand).

Fakt Finnet: +dil-a (present), +dul-a (passat), +das or +aru (existence)

–– Taila to Täi de, totomnika hayai "sata" otkae dil-a.

–– Nowadys, eveyone wants "things" faster (factual).

Imperative: +(ta)te (ifu, hon), -(a)(é)e (regular), -t(é)e (regular), +ate (formal)

–– Ate haha shui yet.

–– Talk to me, and don't you forget it (formal).

Interruptive: +pa(g) –– Imperative: +pe(yat)

–– Peyat aklée sata (formal) –– Aklée pa.

–– Stop saying this -- Stop saying.

Passat –– Continuous: -yur, -(k)etung

–– Su hahyur et, elle yk o attayur saetus.

–– I was speaking, while he was doing this (this here -- showing).

Partissipant: -(ae)as

–– Su hahaeas obbai.

–– I take part in talking to you. –– and it means there are other talking too.

Partissipant Passat: -rýh, -(k)kou

–– Addou takai de,...

–– Once upon a time,...

Preterit Ftýr: +esse (essa) –– take much care, because: Esse da –– is: So be it

–– Su esse atta (or: attessa) soetus, odgo aryer awatta tu wa.

–– I would do that, but I've changed my mind.
