Report -- Year 2011

 Hello.

And Be welcome to the Blog.

This is a report, about what's happening in the blog, and you most probably will find here some new information on how the blog's being made, the object of the blog being Akkia, the wizarding language, and the Enigma.

Back in 2006, I had started creating a language for my fiction.

That is the Akkia language, or the wizarding language.

I don't claim the creation of "wizarding" for myself, but I'm saying the wizards and witches like the word, so I decided to use it.

The creation started when I stoped studying Finnish, because everything I was trying to create sounded like this language, and I really wanted something completely different.

I mixed the influences of Finnish with Japanese and German then.

The result is a mix of east and west sounds, very interesting.

And there's a lot to learn! First you need to know that wizards know who they're talking to. This is a very important characteristic of Akkia, specially designed to address to different people with distinct Wording, for example in the known formal and informal situations.

When we wizards and witches try to say something, we have to decide who is the listener.

Specially when we're talking to ourselves! We study that very carefully.

I'm talking about the study of a language for playing in the language, and so that's a new method I'm creating. There's no difficulty in learning with examples and wording too, and I provide a wholesome of wording in various posts.

Wording is also about "how to say" something.

You may decide to talk directly, going straight to the point.

Or else, you may want a better choice of words, depending on who the audience really is.

That's called Approach, and when you find the right words, you're understood more easily.

I'll have to say some words on talking to yourself.

One needs to use all their psychology to understand your inner self, but we're talking more about the choice of wording you make. Who are you? I mean, you who's talking. And so, how do you treat yourlsef? Politely? Formal or informal. Or else, in a very common way?

The basic level for the language is the Common speech.

That's how you're going to address people who you know.

We have nine levels of a Tree of Words to follow and decide which words we're going to use when speaking. Also, this Tree group or sort the vocabulary into nine word types, not to mention jargon, which is listed indicating to which jargon it belongs to.

Also, generic and specific are types of words.

Remember the language doesn't show plural, except when it's indefinite, or unknown, marked with the Partitive -sawa.

The Kasus (Case) can be used after other endings.

They're used to show and mark Alignment and Alignment Change, which rule the language formality. Remember that you are expect to use the Accusative to address people you know, and during a common Verlaeksi, or conversation.

We also are practicing to play in the language, and the Enigma rules and settings were created to be used in the Conlang Wars language creation game, and you're going to create your own language, from basic words to advanced features you may set for your creative work.

This blog entry is here to show a Report for the work done up to now.

But well, on the next post we're going to see new vocabulary.

This is what's been done, long after the language first draft back in 2006-7.

A very long road up to now, when I'm creating the method.

I hope you're enjoying the reading.

And come back to see what's new, every now and then.

Stay Plugged.
